A plain definition
"Cookies" here covers both classic cookies and browser storage such as localStorage: tiny records a website leaves on your device. Right now dataportales runs no analytics or advertising code at all; the optional categories below would only ever be activated with your yes.
Categories we use
| Type | Purpose | Starting state |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Stores your decision under the key dp_consent so the banner doesn't return on every page. | Always active |
| Analytics | Aggregate counts of visits and of the sections people read. | Inactive unless enabled |
| Advertising / affiliate | Lets a booking partner match a reservation to the button you clicked here, so the referral is credited. | Inactive unless enabled |
Changing a decision
Press — the same control sits in the footer of every page — and flip any optional category on or off. Wiping this site's stored data from your browser works too; the banner will then reappear on your next visit.
After you leave
Hotel sites and Booking.com run their own cookies under their own policies the moment you land on them.
